Team Scramble

For over 35 years, the Team Scramble has been held weekly throughout the year (unless poor weather or major holidays occur). The game structure comprises four-player teams competing to win skins closest to the pins and team total strokes against other teams. 

Players must be Laguna Wood’s residents and members of the (LWMGC) Laguna Woods Men’s Golf Club with an established GHIN handicap. The Team Scramble Board makes every effort to balance the teams comprised of A, B, C & D level players. The teams are selected using each player’s index and then sorted by a computer program to create fair teams that compete evenly. 

The deadline for LWMGC members to sign up is noon Sunday. The team sheet is emailed to all players on Monday evening. Everyone meets on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the lower putting green to check in and pay their Team Captain. The Team Captain (typically the A player) collects each player’s entry fee and pays the Game Organizer before playing.
